Course Aims
To provide operators with the training and knowledge required to:
- Plan the works to be carried out on embankments encompassing risk assessments and rescue plans.
- Assemble and correct use of personal protection equipment (PPE)
- Select suitable anchors and place temporary anchors
- Rig up work restraint and basic work positioning systems
- Build retrievable systems for recovering a casualty.
Who Is This Course Suitable For?
Operatives who require to work on moderate slopes with assistance of ropes

Pre-requisites :
- Reasonable level of physical fitness (a self declaration of fitness will be completed)
- Harness awareness & Working at Height/Tree Climbing qualification
Course Structure :
- 20% theory, 80% practical
