Course Aims
The Aim of the (SMSTS) Site Managers Safety Training Scheme Refresher Course is to cover and remind site management personnel of safe practices in the workplace. As well as educating them on any aspects that may hve changed in the last 5 years, since first achieving their SMSTS. Below there are a few examples of what is covered.
- Manage health and safety on site in accordance with the current legal provisions and within the context of their management or supervisory role
- Develop an understanding of their responsibilities and accountability for site health, safety and welfare
- Recognise that a safe site is efficient, economical and productive

SMSTS holders who want to renew their competency.
