Course Objectives
To enable candidates to understand Legislation, Regulations and Guidance affecting working at height with mobile access towers, PASMA Code of Practice; Product Standards EN1004:200. Including, assembling, altering and dismantling towers, incorporating current best practice for fall protection, inspection of completed mobile access towers and completion of Tower Inspection Records and how to avoid hazards affecting the use of mobile access towers.
Course fee includes PASMA registration and certification
Joining Instructions:
Would all candidates please ensure they bring with them their National Insurance Number together with 2 from the following; Company ID, Passport, Driving Licence or some other form of photographic identification.
Candidates are required to bring High Visibility Clothing to include High Visibility (HV) upper body clothing to BS EN 471:2003 class 2 as a minimum (HV tabard); and HV lower body clothing to BS EN 471:2003 class 1 as a minimum (HV trousers or HV over trousers), PPE incl. Hard Hat, and Safety footwear. Eye protection must conform to BS EN166 (safety goggles of Grade 1 impact standard (now EN166B).
If any cnadidates have additional needs within a learning environment, such as Dyslexia and need of a scribe, please inform us before the course.
